I was born and raised on Lake Anna and I spent my summers water skiing and enjoying all that the lake has to offer. From the time I could ride a bike I would peddle three miles from my home to my grandparent’s lake house, which was home base for my grandfather’s land development/home building venture. I was cheap labor. Those days were spent pushing dirt with a tractor and carrying roof shingles up a ladder. A few years later, now driving, I was doing real work: plumbing, electrical, building decks and boat houses; helping out wherever I could.

After high school I packed up and moved to Nashville to pursue my first passion: cars. After school, in search of warm weather and career opportunities, I moved to Houston, TX. I spent the next seventeen years there. In the early years I worked as a mechanic, buying my first house at 23. I also got married. I ended up running truck shops for two large trucking companies. I soon found that my days were spent taking conference calls, looking at spreadsheets, and sitting in gridlock traffic. Lake Anna started to call. My last years in Houston, were spent working full time while restoring cars in my garage on the weekends. My hands needed to be doing something. In 2017, my wife and I decided to leave Houston for good. We listed our house for sale and moved to Lake Anna a month later!
I spend these days restoring cars in my home shop and enjoying all the lake has to offer. I have some spare time, so Lake Anna Eagle Eye has become a top priority and a full time job. My background has prepared me for this line of work. I have an eye for detail. And while I’m not a contractor, I know a good/bad job when I see one. I enjoy doing handyman repairs and being around larger scale projects as a liaison.
